An awareness session on venomous animals and insects – ideal for Council, Botanic Gardens and Fauna Agency staff, or anyone with a genuine interest in this topic

• This course discusses elements of the Working with Venomous Snakes - Introduction to Handling Course together with additional information on venomous spiders, scorpions, centipedes, hymenopteran insects and stinging caterpillars
• Discussion is held on first aid for venomous bites & stings
• Risk identification and hazard management are discussed
• Allergic reactions to bites and stings are also addressed
