What personal information do we collect?

Personal information is basically information that identifies you as an individual. If you are just visiting our website to browse through the information here about our courses, products and services, we will not collect any personal information about you. If you send us an email, we will record the personal information you send to us, such as your name, email address and the content of your email.

To complete a Balanced with Wildlife Pty Ltd  training course, or to purchases Balanced with Wildlife Pty Ltd equipment or merchandise, our customers must provide identifying information about themselves. This will usually be, but is not limited to, name, address and contact details.

If you are logging in to complete courses, or purchase equipment or merchandise,our system will record that you have logged in. Our system will also record the time you spend online and it will record your progress and results of any courses that you are attempting.

Why do we collect personal information?

Collecting information about our customers is a fundamental part of our services. We collect and store this information on our system so that it is available to our customers, employers and any entity allowed by law to obtain this information. There is a requirement for Balanced with Wildlife Pty Ltd to collect this information for legal, training and compliance monitoring purposes.

The information we collect through email correspondence with you will be used to respond to any enquiries you have made in relation to our courses, products, or services. At the completion of any courses, or after equipment or merchandise has been purchased, we may also use this information to identify what other courses, products and services you may be interested in and we may send you, or your organisation, material about these courses, products and services.

We will give you the option not to receive any further promotional communications from us each time we contact you.

How is your personal information stored?

Your details are stored via an electronic database and may also, on occasion, be stored in a hard copy filing format. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we have collected from you is held securely.

How can you access and correct the personal information we hold?

You have certain rights to know what personal information we hold about you and how it is being used, and certain rights to request that the personal information we hold about you be updated or corrected. Will your personal information be disclosed outside Balanced with Wildlife Pty Ltd?

Balanced with Wildlife Pty Ltd customers can nominate one of their more persons as an "Administrator", "Supervisor", or "Employer". This person will have access to the customer's data and will be able to view course results attributed to that customer.

"Administrators", "Supervisors" or "Employers" are not bound by the Balanced with Wildlife Pty Ltd Privacy Policy. It is up to individual customers to discuss with "Administrators", "Supervisors", or "Employers" an appropriate privacy policy for personal information once the information has been extracted from the Balanced with Wildlife Pty Ltd system.
